Main Topic: Incredible Warmth to Start Out the New Year Across Europe
Dear Diary. A couple of days ago I noticed that the United States and Europe and Europe would see anomalous warmth around New Year’s Day:
It turns out that warmth across Europe was more eye opening than that for the United States:
For today’s main subject let’s see how this warm wave is progressing, which can only be part of global warming due to long term carbon pollution.
The warmth is moderating in western Europe but spreading eastward towards Russia:
As an aside, this temporary warmth should aid Ukraine in its war with Russia and Europeans in general who are facing high energy prices.
Any cooldown in western Europe will stop as yet another heat dome develops over Spain by midweek:
