Massive Worldwide Climate Crisis School Strike Occurring Today
I’m thrilled to report some good news today, for a change. Led by Greta Thunberg, students, their parents and some teachers are protesting “on strike” for the climate, perhaps with the most massive protests for climate change course correction to date. Over the past year Greta Thunberg has done a tremendous job galvanizing students to bring the climate crisis issue toward the proverbial “front burner” of media interest, and has pulled legislative bodies and even heads of state more towards taking action on real solutions toward averting climate change catastrophe. Today I will be posting social media notes on marches held around the planet with some video. I am growing more confident that our younger generations will lead humanity out of a great abyss, both with mitigation and adaption to a new changed by climate, world.
