Dear Diary. As discussed on Tuesday there would be a significant heat dome building over Scandinavia this week:
Now that this has occurred did the thing set many records? Indeed the accompanying heat wave did:
Norway has set an all time heat record for the month of June:
The ridge or heat dome appears to have peaked around 12Z THU 6/25/2020:
This weekend 500 millibar heights over Northern Europe are quickly falling, but the ridge that bubbled up there is just one more sign that our climate is quickly warming. We should all be worried about the changes occurring across the globe and do something about these. Vote for people who believe in science and heed the advice of experts in order to mitigate the climate crisis.
