Any reports I see of ETs will be listed below the main topic of the day. I’ll refer to extreme or record temperatures as ETs (not extraterrestrials).😉
The Dreaded Ring Of Fire…Day Three
Same song, proverbial same dance as forecast, I’m afraid, for areas east of the Rockies. The Plains and Midwest will continue to wash away while the Southeast will see their hottest Memorial Day weekend in recorded history.
Let’s start the third installment of this post by checking on NWS watches and warnings:
As expected, there are plenty of flood advisories out for the Plains. Notice that a small area of heat advisories have popped up for the Florida Panhandle just west of Tallahassee. This would be near the center of our blocking heat dome. Speaking of that heat dome:
